죽음은 승리를 괴롭히는 독특한 방법을 가지고 있어, 영광에 이어 흑사병을 가져다준다. 염병 또한 승전의 부속물이다.
당시 전장의 위생상태를 생각하면 역병이 하나 둘 쯤 도는 건 당연지사. 그나저나 Typhus를 한국말로 염병이라고 하는구나. 욕할 때 염병이 이런 뜻이었군.
